Das Interieur besticht durch ein barock anmutendes Design. Die Küche wurde mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. Von der City aus gelangt man durch die gute Anbndung sehr schnell zurück ins gebuchte Hotel. Möchte man nicht nur hervorragend dinieren, sondern etwas ganz Besonderes erleben, sollte man sich einen Besuch mit Edelrestaurant 181 nicht entgehen lassen. Das Lokal befindet sich ganz oben im Olympiaturm, Spiridon-Louis-Ring 7, und kann gut mit dem Auto oder den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreicht werden. Das Restaurant dreht sich und bietet dank der großen Fensterfronten einen unvergesslichen Ausblick über München. Auf diese Weise lässt sich jeder Geschäftstermin in München mit einem echten Event verbinden.
Die Klimaanlage war ausgefallen (ausgerechnet in der heissesten Zeit). Das Hotel hat direkt angeboten, uns als Wiedergutmachung das Frühstück zu offerieren. Beim Auschecken mussten wir zudem nichts für den Parkplatz und die Getränke aus der Minibar bezahlen. Das war mehr als kulant und eine sehr positive Überraschung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und schön präsentiert.
Feine Polsterstoffe aus Alcantara und der wieder in Mode gekommene Linoleum- Bodenbelag prägen das Ambiente. Beides kostet freilich Aufpreis, HRZ nennt diese Innenoptik „Business Travel“. diesem Zusammenhang liest sich die Sonderausstattungsliste von HRZ ebenso umfangreich wie das Pendant der Mercedes- Basis – ein HRZ ist individuell und beileibe nicht billig. Der nicht übertrieben üppig bestückte Testwagen kostete gut 60 000 Euro. Doch der Gegenwert stimmt: Da wäre zum Beispiel, typisch HRZ, das präzise gebaute Mobiliar mit einem hohen Echtholzanteil. Silberne Rollladentüren an den Hängeschränken vermitteln eine Spur Business-Atmosphäre. Eine weitere Raffinesse ist unter dem relativ flachen Dach des HRZ zu entdecken, dort versteckt sich ein einzigartiges Hubbett. Auf Knopfdruck senkt sich die Liegefläche leise nach unten. Der solide Elektroantrieb (Aufpreis) arretiert in jeder Höhe, schränkt aber die Bettgröße ein. Die Liegefläche fällt durchschnittlich groß aus, ein Lattenrost fehlt.

Munich is a winter and Christmas wonderland. The Christmas market on Marienplatz will be crowded, but it is a must-see. If you are into playing or watching the ice game of curling, check out the track in front of the Nymphenburg Palace. During Advent, hop aboard the Christmas tram (after buying a ticket!) to escape the cold. If the weather gets to be too cold, there are many spas in Munich, or you can also go to the Botanical Gardens. Take a 2-hour drive from the city to the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. Once there you can go hiking or skiing and enjoy the views. The roads within Munich can be traversed in a luxury sedan, but if heading out of the city, an SUV or 4-wheel-drive vehicle with winter tires is recommended. And be sure to check the availability of ski racks.
Wir haben die Vorrundenspiele für die Handballweltmeisterschft in der Olypiahalle besucht. Der Olympiapark ist absolut besuchenswert, wir waren auf dem Fernsehturm mit herausragender Sicht, tollem Restaurant...haben Sealife besucht...und die Olympiahalle bei den 3 Spielen genossen.. Vorher Karlsplatz besucht und shoppen gewesen... Gegessen haben wir im Restaurant Asado Steak...alles super in München Laim und dann gibt es noch so viele tolle historische Gebäude zu besichtigen ..
