Besonderer Anziehungspunkt in München ist der Olympia Park. Das Gelände wurde einst als Veranstaltungsort für die XX. Olympischen Sommerspiele im Jahr 1972 gebaut. Dieser Anlagenkomplex ist am Spiridon-Louis-Ring 21 in 80809 München zu finden und hat sich heute zu einer interessante Kombination von unterschiedlichen Freizeit- und Veranstaltungsstätten entwickelt. In dem etwa 850.000 m² großen Areal finden jährlich mehr als 11.000 Veranstaltungen mit knapp 200 Millionen Besuchern statt. Hier werden Weltmeisterschaften und Europameisterschaften ausgetragen aber auch zahlreiche Messeausstellungen und Konzerte. Wahrzeichen des Ortes ist das futuristisch gebaute Olympiastadion mit der Olympiahalle und dem 291,28 m hohen Olympiaturm. Wer bei einem Aufenthalt in einem Hotel in München einmal den Olympia Park besuchen möchte, kann diesen bequem mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. Über die U-Bahn-Linie U3 gelangt man zu den Haltestellen Olympiazentrum und Münchner Freiheit. Von hier geht es auch bequem in Richtung Schwabing und Innenstadt. The Autobahn 8, A8, runs from Stuttgart-Munich and the A9 between Nuernberg and Munich, which is also considered to be one of the busier roads in the area. To avoid congestion at rush hour, there are smaller roadways that are known as B service roads that can be taken. When driving near or around the urban center there are several parking garages available, the biggest one located at the Munich Hauptbahnhof.
