Die Klimaanlage war ausgefallen (ausgerechnet in der heissesten Zeit). Das Hotel hat direkt angeboten, uns als Wiedergutmachung das Frühstück zu offerieren. Beim Auschecken mussten wir zudem nichts für den Parkplatz und die Getränke aus der Minibar bezahlen. Das war mehr als kulant und eine sehr positive Überraschung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und schön präsentiert.

Die Lage ist Top, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und der City Münchens. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und Wasserflaschen wenn leer ausgetauscht. Tiefgaragenparkplatz für ich glaube 17€ die Nacht zubuchbar, wenn verfügbar. Es sind wenig Stellplätze verfügbar, also am besten schon vorab buchen. Frühstücksbuffet kostet 15€. Klein aber fein, alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Nettes Personal.
Munich is a winter and Christmas wonderland. The Christmas market on Marienplatz will be crowded, but it is a must-see. If you are into playing or watching the ice game of curling, check out the track in front of the Nymphenburg Palace. During Advent, hop aboard the Christmas tram (after buying a ticket!) to escape the cold. If the weather gets to be too cold, there are many spas in Munich, or you can also go to the Botanical Gardens. Take a 2-hour drive from the city to the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. Once there you can go hiking or skiing and enjoy the views. The roads within Munich can be traversed in a luxury sedan, but if heading out of the city, an SUV or 4-wheel-drive vehicle with winter tires is recommended. And be sure to check the availability of ski racks.

Sie sollten sich auch auf keinen Fall das Neue Rathaus mit dem berühmten Glockenspiel und die Residenz, ehemals Sitz der bayerischen Könige, entgehen lassen. In München steht außerdem das Hofbräuhaus, die bekannteste Bierhalle der Welt.
Ob in Restaurants oder Hotels im München, fast überall steht dieses Nationalgericht Bayerns auf der Speisekarte: Weißwürste mit süßem Senf. Traditionell werden die weißen, kräftig gewürzten Würste vor 12 Uhr gegessen. Allerdings sind sie auch nach der Mittagszeit noch eine Delikatesse. Passend dazu wird süßer Senf gereicht und es ist durchaus üblich, ein Weißbier zu trinken. Ruhig auch in der antialkoholischen Variante, die zugleich noch den Durst löscht und den Körper mit Vitaminen versorgen kann. So abwechslungsreich ist das bayerische Weißwurstfrühstück.
