Der Park muss zum eigentlichen Olympiagelände gesondert betrachtet werden. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Erholungsstätte mit zwei Seen, angrenzender Hügellandschaft und zahlreichen Grünflächen. Der Park dient heute als Ort der Erholung und gehört mit seinen 160 ha Fläche zur größten Grünanlagen Münchens. Die beiden vom Regenwasser der futuristischen Dächer der Stadien gespeisten Seen sind zudem ein wichtiger Zwischenstopp für die Zugvögel in den Süden. Ich finde München toll, weil München Großstadt und Dorf zugleich ist. Jedes Viertel ist wie seine ganz eigene Welt. Außerdem ist kaum eine Stadt so grün wie München. Keine 50 Meter hinter dem Ortsausgangsschild ist man dann in deiner persönlichen Provinz mit so vielen schönen Wäldern, Seen und Wiesen, so dass man die anderen 1,4 Mio Menschen aus der überfüllten U-Bahn vergisst. In München hat man alles!
