Im Zentrum von München befinden sich der Marienplatz und das Rathaus, von dessen Turm täglich das berühmte Glockenspiel ertönt. Ein weiterer Anziehungspunkt für Touristen und Einheimische ist das bekannte und schon oft besungene Hofbräuhaus. Dort herrscht das ganze Jahr über eine Stimmung wie auf dem Oktoberfest. Es werden typisch bayerische Gerichte aufgetischt und zur Blaskapellenmusik lässt es sich gut schunkeln.
