Der Park muss zum eigentlichen Olympiagelände gesondert betrachtet werden. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Erholungsstätte mit zwei Seen, angrenzender Hügellandschaft und zahlreichen Grünflächen. Der Park dient heute als Ort der Erholung und gehört mit seinen 160 ha Fläche zur größten Grünanlagen Münchens. Die beiden vom Regenwasser der futuristischen Dächer der Stadien gespeisten Seen sind zudem ein wichtiger Zwischenstopp für die Zugvögel in den Süden. Wer aus geschäftlichem Anlass die bayerische Landeshauptstadt besuchen möchte, der kann in der Freizeit im Olympiapark herrlich entspannen. Insbesondere nach einem anstrengenden Businessmeeting lohnt sich ein Abstecher in diese Parklandschaft. Neben ausgedehnten Spaziergängen findet der Besucher hier auch eine hervorragende Restauration, in der man die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten der Region genießen kann. Insoweit kann bei einem Hotelaufenthalt in München ein Besuch des Olympiaparks durchaus empfohlen werden.

Located near Munich's Olympiapark, which hosted the Olympics in 1972, BMW Welt, is perfect for car enthusiasts and those interested in contemporary German history. Various exhibitions and events are hosted at the BMW Museum, such as the Night of the White Gloves where visitors are permitted to touch the vehicles, with the gloves on of course! There are both permanent and temporary exhibitions, from BMW Art Cars to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, so there's something exciting for everyone.
There is much to see and do in Munich the Bavaria region of Germany, and a car rental provides you the means to make it all possible. Visit the all the fantastic museums, shopping and dining destinations among other attractions. Visit the famous baroque palace of Nymphenburg and be sure to spend some time along the Isar. From Munich you can also take your rent a car on day trips to the beautiful lakes such as the Tegernsee or spend time near the Alps in the Chiemsee area.
Munich is a winter and Christmas wonderland. The Christmas market on Marienplatz will be crowded, but it is a must-see. If you are into playing or watching the ice game of curling, check out the track in front of the Nymphenburg Palace. During Advent, hop aboard the Christmas tram (after buying a ticket!) to escape the cold. If the weather gets to be too cold, there are many spas in Munich, or you can also go to the Botanical Gardens. Take a 2-hour drive from the city to the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. Once there you can go hiking or skiing and enjoy the views. The roads within Munich can be traversed in a luxury sedan, but if heading out of the city, an SUV or 4-wheel-drive vehicle with winter tires is recommended. And be sure to check the availability of ski racks.

Ich finde München toll, weil München Großstadt und Dorf zugleich ist. Jedes Viertel ist wie seine ganz eigene Welt. Außerdem ist kaum eine Stadt so grün wie München. Keine 50 Meter hinter dem Ortsausgangsschild ist man dann in deiner persönlichen Provinz mit so vielen schönen Wäldern, Seen und Wiesen, so dass man die anderen 1,4 Mio Menschen aus der überfüllten U-Bahn vergisst. In München hat man alles!
