Die 18 Meter hohe Statue überblickt die Theresienwiese, hinter ihr erhebt sich die Ruhmeshalle. Der Kolossalbau ist berühmten Münchner Köpfen gewidmet; buchstäblich, denn die Säulenhallen werden von zahlreichen Büsten gesäumt. Wer hier zur Zeit des Oktoberfestes in der Nähe übernachten möchte, muss zeitig planen und genügend Budget mitbringen, denn der Preis für ein Zimmer in dieser Lage liegt hier deutlich über dem Jahresdurchschnitt.
Die Lage ist Top, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und der City Münchens. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und Wasserflaschen wenn leer ausgetauscht. Tiefgaragenparkplatz für ich glaube 17€ die Nacht zubuchbar, wenn verfügbar. Es sind wenig Stellplätze verfügbar, also am besten schon vorab buchen. Frühstücksbuffet kostet 15€. Klein aber fein, alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Nettes Personal.

Ich finde München toll, weil München Großstadt und Dorf zugleich ist. Jedes Viertel ist wie seine ganz eigene Welt. Außerdem ist kaum eine Stadt so grün wie München. Keine 50 Meter hinter dem Ortsausgangsschild ist man dann in deiner persönlichen Provinz mit so vielen schönen Wäldern, Seen und Wiesen, so dass man die anderen 1,4 Mio Menschen aus der überfüllten U-Bahn vergisst. In München hat man alles!
