Eine der begehrtesten Frauen Münchens finden Sie auf der Theresienwiese. Hier, wo alljährlich auch das Oktoberfest stattfindet, steht die Bavaria, die Schutzpatronin Bayerns. Zwar ist sie nicht aus Fleisch und Blut, sondern aus Bronze, für München-Besucher aber dennoch einen Ausflug wert. Die 18 Meter hohe Statue überblickt die Theresienwiese, hinter ihr erhebt sich die Ruhmeshalle. Der Kolossalbau ist berühmten Münchner Köpfen gewidmet; buchstäblich, denn die Säulenhallen werden von zahlreichen Büsten gesäumt. Wer hier zur Zeit des Oktoberfestes in der Nähe übernachten möchte, muss zeitig planen und genügend Budget mitbringen, denn der Preis für ein Zimmer in dieser Lage liegt hier deutlich über dem Jahresdurchschnitt.
Ich finde München toll, weil München Großstadt und Dorf zugleich ist. Jedes Viertel ist wie seine ganz eigene Welt. Außerdem ist kaum eine Stadt so grün wie München. Keine 50 Meter hinter dem Ortsausgangsschild ist man dann in deiner persönlichen Provinz mit so vielen schönen Wäldern, Seen und Wiesen, so dass man die anderen 1,4 Mio Menschen aus der überfüllten U-Bahn vergisst. In München hat man alles!
Für ein zentral gelegenes Hotel in München ist die Gegend um den Hauptbahnhof die beste Adresse. Dort befinden sich einige Fünf-Sterne-Hotels, wie bspw. das exklusive Hotel Bayerischer Hof aber auch günstigere Unterkünfte wie zum Beispiel das Derag Livinghotel. Wie nahe München an den Bayerischen Voralpen liegt, merkt man bei Föhn. Wenn der warme Alpenwind bläst, sieht es so aus, als würden sich die Berge direkt hinter der Stadt erheben. Auch in der Stadt selbst sind Sie der Natur ganz nah. Die Grünflächen in München bedecken beträchtliche Teile der Stadt. Der Englische Garten ist eine der größten innerstädtischen Parkanlagen der Welt. Entlang der Isar, in den so genannten Isarauen, kann man sogar durch ganz München im Grünen spazieren gehen. Das gut angelegte Verkehrsnetz der Stadt ermöglicht eine problemlose Anfahrt ins Zentrum aus allen Stadtteilen und Vororten. Der Hauptbahnhof allein wird von insgesamt zwölf Schnellbahnen angefahren.

Die Lage ist Top, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und der City Münchens. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und Wasserflaschen wenn leer ausgetauscht. Tiefgaragenparkplatz für ich glaube 17€ die Nacht zubuchbar, wenn verfügbar. Es sind wenig Stellplätze verfügbar, also am besten schon vorab buchen. Frühstücksbuffet kostet 15€. Klein aber fein, alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Nettes Personal.

If you are into playing or watching the ice game of curling, check out the track in front of the Nymphenburg Palace. During Advent, hop aboard the Christmas tram (after buying a ticket!) to escape the cold. If the weather gets to be too cold, there are many spas in Munich, or you can also go to the Botanical Gardens. Take a 2-hour drive from the city to the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. Once there you can go hiking or skiing and enjoy the views. The roads within Munich can be traversed in a luxury sedan, but if heading out of the city, an SUV or 4-wheel-drive vehicle with winter tires is recommended. And be sure to check the availability of ski racks.
